Default Side View Camera/ Lane Watch Camera in 9th Generation Honda Civic

Side View Camera Lane Watch Camera in 9th Generation Honda Civic -1653111

    Hi guys!

I am willing to attach side view camera to my Honda Civic 9th Generation Car. I have seen it in american model. I need to know whether I can attach an extra camera with the 2nd Generation Android Navigation Player with a blinker just like activating a camera by putting car in reverse. I have seen some videos but as I am simply a user I cannot do wiring and stuff. Keeping in view it already has two cameras(1 for Parking and 1 for reverse)

    Any one can help?
    Regards

For those who are interested: We have made a group for Ninth Generation Civic owners if anyone is interested in kindly sms me on 03213331087.

this is a complicated thing to install. The button to activate this is located on the indicator stick. Further, when you turn on the signal of this side, the cam automatically turns on. As far as I know, it's display is in the i-MID screen, not in the multimedia.
hence to make all this work, you ll need to source the required items plus an expert who can wire all this. BUT, there is another issue, as far as I know, the lane watch came only in US models, hence you ll only find the indicator stick for the LHD car and also the mirror assembly for the left hand car as well,
both of which aren't compatible with our version of civic

Side View Camera Lane Watch Camera in 9th Generation Honda Civic -1653156Side View Camera Lane Watch Camera in 9th Generation Honda Civic -1653148Side View Camera Lane Watch Camera in 9th Generation Honda Civic -1653149Brother:
With due respect as far as I know (i-mid) has nothing to do with it. Initially it was difficult to find an appropriate camera with manual rotation. But I have found few on ebay and I have decided to import them as soon as I'll get any clue from the experts about the wiring. According to my limited knowledge when I upgraded from Windows unit to Android One he grounded the camera power wire. Now the question is whether I can attach a camera and power it with left side indicator and connect the video power wire(other end) with the reverse wire coming from the Android unit. Now the understanding is:
A: Now If I'd put the car in reverse camera, reverse camera would get power due to the connection they made with reverse light(I guess) and straight away Navigation unit should give the preview.
B: Now If I'd on the left blinker it should activate the left camera as there is no power on the reverse camera now it should'nt get active :p
Tell me If I am wrong.
Please if you can suggest any good navigation shop with a good technician because Tracking World and Honda Gateway is not helping me.
    Any help'd be appreciated

    Thank you so much brothers

I have driven a car which has this feature for a few weeks and trust me its not as useful/helpful as you might think, it is okay after the first few weeks, you will need to see your side view mirrors in some cases. You would have better places to invest on the car itself

I have seen this device. You do not need another display. You just need to connect the video in wire with the Head Unit(android) front camera wire and you can switch the display using remote. This is not satisfactory for me. Lets see if I am going to get what I want. Cheers.

    - Retrofitted headlights with HID 5000K - much better light out with good cutout and will not bother anyone, much more practical and useful everynight.

    - Better rims and tires if you want if running on factory rims

    - Sound proofing/ deadening if you might like a quieter ride

Hope these are good to start from

So guys the wait is over
I have finally installed side view camera/ lane watch camera for my ninth generation Civic. I'll post a video soon. Well initially I wanted to get it attached with the navigation head. But due to some complications I couldn't get it attached with navigation unit. Well the good news is :p I got it attached with the I-MID display. Now whenever I put on my left blinker the I-MID screen flashes to the camera attached to the left side mirror. This is the only way I could get it done. So for those guys who are running on factory media player on their civics can attach reverse camera as well to I-MID screen and it's real simple. I got it done in 4500(Camera=1500 + Charges = 3000) But I am pretty sure you guys can get it in lot lesser amount because the guy was from Porsche Pakistan

Well no I am from lahore. It's really easy to get it attached with the i-mid screen(the reverse camera I am talking about). The all you need to do is to buy a camera. Get an electrician and then call me. I'll tell him how to do. If you are willing to do it by yourself then I'll update you step by step procedure.
