Post Civic 9 Gen or Altis Grande or Civic 10 Gen?

I am interested to buy a new sedan automatic 1800 cc. I am working in private sector and based in Lahore with frequent travelling both Urban and Rural. Currently, I am using City 1.3 ivtec 2013 model. I have two options, either to go for Civic Vti Oriel Prosmatic OR Altis Grande CVTi. Based on my personal experience with previous honda car, seeing both vehicles at dealers, I intend to go for Civic due to comfort. I have never driven a corolla in the past. I will appreciate if the PW members and owners of both cars can give their precious suggestions whether I should prefer Altis Grande CVTi OR Civic VTI Oriel Prosmatic? Just in case you recommend to go for Civic, then second questions is whether I should go for the current 9 Generation Civic or should i wait for the 10th Gen civic? I mean is it really worth waiting for the new Civic and would I really regret if I buy the Civic 9 Gen now and later new one is launched? How much different is 10th Gen from 9 Gen?

Your suggestions, opinion based on the reasons will be highly appreciated. Thanks

(PS: I have gone through mostly threads related to this topic, so please do not suggest me to read them again. Question here is to seek your opinion on three of the available options.)

Default Civic 9 Gen or Altis Grande or Civic 10 Gen?

i had to slow down in my Civic everytime while checking and comparing it with my Corolla Corolla felt much better at all speeds from 0 to 160
and you should also look at the sale figures before comparing more accidents of Corollas against Civic
    no offense
I'm in no mood of a Corolla VS Civic argument/war. Therefore: Yes you are right and i am wrong, i just said what i have felt and experienced and witnessed.
Just for the sake of experiment, try doing a hard brake at 160 on a motorway curve in Corolla and let me know the results if they back your claim. Just because a car is numb and has no reaction to different speeds and road conditions is exactly what is wrong with it. Doing a 160 is not what matters, it's always the emergency situations which make the difference. So now I don't know if ure right or the chap above who said he faced an accident in a Civic which he wouldn't be alive to tell about if he was in a Corolla.

Oh and about the sales figures, according to that safest car in Pakistan is Mehran, followed by Cultus and the worst are Mercs being less in number so not as much facing accidents.

but when you go to sell your car and buy new one difference is much more. because even though it should be around 200-300k, no one who can afford 2.6million car is going to sacrifice new generation for 200-300k. so you'll have to sale your car cheaper than it is and add 400-500k for 10 gen..
if you dont, well you will still know that if you'd waited some time you could have had that car for 200k more. but now its 400-500k.
    thats regret my friend.
Thank you for the advice. You mean that new civic will be 200K expensive than the price of existing civic? Please confirm the source, as I have been hearing for long that new civic will be launched at the same price as of existing civic. Thanks in advance for your reply.

^ those numbers were just for making my point.. i'll ask my sources for more accurate numbers but it'll at least be 100k more. people are excited about this car, we think it will be a big improvement on existing gen and honda atlas knows this fact.. why won't they make money off of it..

dude i've been in an accident of hard braking on 170 while in a curve..due to stupidity of my friend. i am alive because of seat belt +a lot of airbags . and the car i was in was not corolla it was 2009 dogde charger .. accident happened in 2013 riyadh.. so any car can go off in hard breaking in curve at that speed.

My point was: If a Dodge charger does that at 170, how can a Corolla be fine at 160 as mentioned and claimed above?

he said it can do 160 on curve... not the emergency braking part.
my point : going through a curve above 140 is bad idea even if it can do it. people cant control tire burst at 160 going straight what would they do while turning..

It was 2012 Registered 2013 Hardtop Prosmatec White. I sold it for 19 as it was just 35k Honda maintained and scratchless in original paint.
But please keep in mind that even Oriel PT 2013 are selling between 18-19 at the moment depending on condition. My cousin sold his Oriel PT 2013, 41k driven for 19.15
People asking higher are unlikely to get the higher price

I am feeling comfortable with my 9 Gen civic and I am happy that i did not wait for the Civic X seeing all mishandling by Atlas with the new Civic launch including trimmed version on much higher prices and then Turbo issue. Happy that 9 Gen civic is giving better ride in rural areas than my earlier 2013 Honda City as that was too much touch the speed brakers but this Honda Civic is a bit higher may be, I am much saved from zig zag passing the brakers everytime...
