I drive an early 2004 cat eye VTI Oriel in Black and its been 4 wonderful years. Its an amazing vehicle and will spoil you through its swiftness and luxuries.

The average is a bit moody though depending on from where you get your fuel filled. Best is to have it topped up.

Parts are a bit on expensive side, but the best thing is that once a part is replaced with a genuine part, that one never gives an issue anymore. If all plugs are changed as well as the periodic maintenance conducted at all times, the car runs like a brand new charm.

Yes, I like in Karachi. Milleage is 8.5 with AC and 9.5-10 without AC on regular fuel and 1 km difference in case of using HOBC.

Yes it is an Automatic. One thing you will notice during your search is that manual shifts are less in price compared to auto as mostly people opt auto due to hi-end luxury in driving.

Secondly, go for a family used car and even if its few pieces are touchup. Coz we live in Karachi and you can see even zero meter cars with small and big dents, its they Karachi problem, and if someone says his car is fully original, run away. These cars have atleast one to two pieces touch up. I bought it from a friend who was the first owner, but its bonut was repainted and both back doors had some scratches, the front bumper needed repaint.

But I still opted for it, coz mechanically and from inside, it was a fresh piece of cake. it still clocked 133,000 and running smooth, Will be letting it go this year end!

I have my plugs changed, once a year, twice done only if I have made long travels outside Karachi. Oil changed after 4,000 kms. Air filter changed almost every 3rd month as it directly affects the average. Oil filter is changed on skipping one service as it does 10,000 kms (as per Honda), but I change it after every 8,000 km. I get it done from Honda North Nazimabad

    Oil Filter is Rs 850
Air Filter is Rs 500-650 (depends on brands)
    Engine Oil Rs 2150
    Plugs Rs 180 each

    Hi,

I am using 2001 Vti Oriel prosmatic, car is good to drive and ride is comfortable. only con is even with stock height it hits speed breakers so need to be slow while crossing them. service costs are roughly 5-6k every 5000KM ( like oil, all filters, all fluids etc) however major service like 60-80-100k can cost anything between 10000-20000 depends if you are going for belts brakes and other bits as per manual. but the key is not to miss the service to keep your car trouble free.

fuel average is 9-10km /l it takes 34-35 ltr of fuel after fuel light. AC and no AC doesnt effect much on consumption.

also i am selling my car so you can have a look in karachi

Just bought a 2004 model VTi Prosmatec last month from a relative. Very carefully maintained and just 110000 kms on odo. In superb condition. I must say it's one of the best car available here. Get a VTi and and u will be getting great features. After driving this car, I don't like any other car, trust me. Check my ride:Help regarding Honda Civic eagle eye and cat eye -1692568
