Guys, thank you all for the appreciation!
Kingkhan, I am running a PFM fuel unit that is designed specially for a return-less fuel system. I’ll go for a stand alone unit if I decide to build the engine. So that answers another of your question. The wastegate is 38 mm. Exhaust is 2.25, no cat, just a resonator in the middle and a swirl type titanium light weight muffler.
GtiR, the 220 hp was measured on a Gtech sensor, since there are no dynos here. Its not that accurate but it does give you a rough idea. Also, I have seen dyno sheets of similar cars having the exact same setup as mine (in USA) and they have even touched 250 hp on stock internals with proper tuning!
Zarafa, a 7th Gen (short of generation) civic, refers to the models of the civic that came during 2001-2005. Similarly a 6th Gen civic is any civic that comes between the year 1996-2000 and so on ……….
Faheem12, I am not so sure about selling the car right now as I just finished working on it. And money doesn’t matter to the amount of time and effort that I have put in this baby.
Haseeb, you are right its not the fastest civic. But I prefer to have a reliable car that I can drive everyday to any place, instead of keeping it parked in a workshop for half of the week or worrying that something might go wrong anytime. My car is absolutely hassle-free. It easily gives me an average of 10 kms/litre. What else can you ask for? Besides, it might not be the fastest civic, but as the topic of this discussion says, it is the fastest 7th Gen, not only in Islamabad but the whole country!!!
