Very good. Government should be very strict and this should be made a rule that all CNG Cylinders over 5 years old should be tested every year. Traffic Police should check this fitness certificate of CNG Vehicles.
Do they have authority to test cylinders? cng cylinders are tested by HDIP it think only HDIP certificate is valid?:S

anyone knows a place in lahore for urgent service.5 -6 days is a ling time and full khajalat..Also i thinkhe testing mechanism is below ar as i have seen a centre in Gulshan Ravi. Please advise as havent even heard a single blast case of inflex or any goof cylinders like Faber.The normal life as per my Santro and Kia manual was 30 years
All CNG stations are being closed within 2 years. Govt says that there is shortage of gas even for household usage.

If I get a NEW CNG tank, how to know it is SAFE? I don't think a new (unused) tank needs to be tested . . .

Plus if the tank is less than 3 years old, then we don't need testing, do we?
Is it hdip or some one else who is providing this service as hdip don't have any urgent service like thing as they gave the cylinder in 4-5 days
