BYD S8 (formerly known as F8) is China's first hardtop convertible having a striking resemblance with the Mercedes Benz CLK convertible. BYD, abbreviation of "Build Your Dreams" also have other interesting products in their lineup which resembles the Toyota Aygo, Honda City & Toyota Corolla as well. The S8 is priced from 165,800 CNY to 206,800 CNY (20.4 lac PKR to 25.4 lac PKR)
An interesting & unique feature of the S8 is a Keyless entry Wrist watch, which is exclusive for the BYD S8. The watch can do anything a normal ketless entry card can do: keyless entry and keyless startup.
The S8 is available in both Automatic & Manual Transmissions having a 2.0 liter inline 4 cylinder BYD483Q engine which produces 138hp at 6000rpm max, produces torque of 186n-m/ 4500rpm. The max speed is more than 180km/h
