i would have loved to.. but like i said there are more than 130 SUVs available in China and about 60 MPVs, forget about pickups n trucks. so its really hard to create dedicated thread for each n every one of them. Also there have been a wonderful development in SUV n MPV segment, Hover 3 is an example, which provoked me to create this thread.. i will however updating the sedan n hatchback threads individually.

Tiggo first appeared in year 2005 and since then its a successful seller for Chery!

The Chery Tiggo was also listed among the upcoming vehicles at Pakchery website. Unfortunately the car never showed up and the Pakchery website has also gone down!

The JAC Rein has been a good seller for JAC, they acquired the rights to the Sante-Fe from their JV partners Hyundai and have given it a few minor tweaks with a set of Lexus RX-style tail lamps for the Chinese marketplace.

Its available in 2.4l gasoline and 1.9l diesel engine configurations while 2.0 turbo version is also said to be in pipeline. Both the engines meet Euro III emission standards.

Safety configurations include Driver & Passenger Airbags, Anti theft Engine, Remote controlled Central Locking, ABS with EBD, as well as extras like Sunroof, Alloy Wheels, Tilt Adjustable Leather Steering Wheel, Parking Assist, Height Adjustable Seats, CD Player etc comes as standard.

Price ranges from 95800rmb (11.9 lac PKR) to 134800rmb (16.8 lac PKR)

A facelift Chery Tiggo3 has been spotted out testing yet again, and seems to be a seriously nice looking vehicle. This version of the Tiggo3 was not on show at the Beijing Auto Show this year, instead Chery have been pushing their DR Edition Tiggo3 here in China.

The facelift Tiggo3 appears to have taken on a much more mature, and slightly more European design style that was lacking from the original RAV4 clone. The Tiggo3 has already been on the market for 5 years with no major design updates, but has continued to sell well, the facelift Tiggo3 complete with a range of turbo and even supercharge small displacement engines is likely to continue the drive into the SUV top sales charts over the next 12 to 24 months, with strong competition expected from Geely’s forthcoming SUV, the Tiggo needs to look good and perform good.
