Haima, the JV partners of Mazda, officially launched Cupid hatchback on December 23rd, 2009. Haima Cupid is available with either a 1.3-liter 4A90S engine or a 1.5L 4A91S engine, with corresponding 92 or 105 horsepower and 124 or 141 N/m torque. Both the engines are mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. Measuring 3890x1695x1480mm, Cupid uses front McPherson independent suspension with stabilizer, and at the rear uses H-shaped torsion beam semi-independent suspension system.
Haima Cupid has a number of safety anti-theft devices, including 3H high-rigidity body structure, crushing shrink steering column, 4-door anti-collision beams, ABS + EBD, front dual airbags, automatic-dimming inside rear view mirror, pre-tightening type seat belt of the first row, all Haima Cupid models are equipped with adjustable steering wheels while only the 1.3L manual GLS Cupid and 1.5L Cupid are equipped with the aluminum alloy wheels and the leather steering wheels.
Price of Cupid starts from 53900rmb [6.71 lac PKR] up to 69900rmb [8.71 lac PKR] for the fully loaded 1.5 version.
