NO comparison between the EON and Polo size/capacity/price-wise. The EON is an Alto competitor and is in the sub-compact class though the car has loads of rooms on the inside and for luggage too. The EON will kill the Alto 800 but the Alto K10 will sell 'cause of the engine.

any news on the Swift sports coming to India and what about the Dzire?? is it dis-contining, keeping old swift, or re-arranging it with the new Swift?
I'm not sure of the Swift Sportz but a new D'Zire is in the wings. Prototypes have been spotted but might be delayed due to the strike effect at Maruti-Suzuki. I took clear pics of a brand new Swift fitted with factory 'sports package' yesterday but deleted pics by mistake. The new A7 is populare in Chennai thought the A6 is catching up.
