Default Corolla SE Saloon/Xli - Expert's Opinion Required

    Dear All,
I am looking forward to upgrade my vehicle. there are 2 options in my sight which are as follows

1 - Toyota Corolla SE Saloon, 2004 Model ,White, 90,000km driven, First Owner, Owned in my family, car is in immaculate condition, Alloys installed.

2 - Toyota Corolla Xli, 2006 December model, White, 92000km driven, First Owner, owned by a collegue, car has touchups/one door painted, Total Stock.

Both persons are demanding almost the same price i.e. around Rs.850,000. I am more inclined towards SE Saloon as it has more options than Xli. But few points are bugging me. I need your help to get through this. Issues are as follows.

1 - Mileage: Average mileage of both cars in one CNG cylinder? AC/Without AC? Please share your least mileages as well.

    2 - Maintainance Charges.

3 - Possible harms, as the vehicles have done 90,000km on clock?

    4 - Annual Tokens?

    5 - Performance on CNG?

Another factor which i am unable to understand is that why SE Saloon has less resale?

Please share your experiences and give suggestions to get through this purchase process.

    Regards
    Khizar Siddiqui

2 year difference, secondly xli is the rent a car favi,

go for se saloon, since u would be knowing its history.. it has more comfort
people who use Highbeams.. once day would suffer too bigtime. People who drive slow on fast lanes, remember one day a vehicle carryin ur son, dad might get late to hospital coz people like u. underaged driving will land u in bigtime trouble one day or the other.. And the Blue indication light on ur speedometer denotes "High Beams"

Avg Is Almost Same Token Of SE-Saloon Is Bit More Due To Increased CC...!!
But Both Cars Got Grip And Skidding On Braking Issues..
I Would Suggest To Find An Altis With ABS....!!
    Better Than Both

braking on both these cars is pretty horrible.
try finding an altis with ABS.
if not then between the two se saloon is much better
maintenance cost is just slightly more

In these 2 Cars i would go for SE Saloon on CNG it will b better and 1600CC more power in engine, since its discontinued variety of toyota so its resale is bit less but it worths, just do some after maths with Brakes and thy will b much better with good quality tyres.
While Xli is market car i mean can give you good resale while i dont like it at all as after 3k RPM Engine is very Noisey while not loaded car.

    Se saloon

Is much more powerful and a pleasure to drive due to massive low end torque (lol...talking with respect to local car industry)
