I know this topic has been discussed many times on the forums but im still on the fence between deciding what to do in my car...
2010 Corolla xli 23000km driven on petrol
SIS KIT 90K.. --- kit 60k cylinder 30k
NG1 is not same as ecotec corolla but similar. talked to the representative he said that the kit has advancer and emulator seperate while in the ecotec it is all built in together in the ecu.
LAMBDA LC 01 60K--- kit 30k cylinder 30k
installed at approved Landi Renzo retailer.
SIS kit
pros
has better acceleration, economy,
cons
-costs 30k more
-requires considerable maintainence and electronic components will fail eventually mainly injector rail which costs alot of money about 20k to replace. no warranty on any electrical components.
-problem when selling the car (popular lambda will be preferred)
15000 km requires 1500 rupee filter change (filters oil)
injector life is about 50000 km can be washed twice but will eventually go bad costing 20k to replace...
any problems car will have to be taken to an approved place in khi tariq road or shar-e-faisal.. cannot be taken to Toyota showroom
lambda..
pros
cost cheaper. no maintenance. can be tuned at any place.
cons
loss of power. venturi system is like putting a carburetor in a efi engine.
I will be carefully checking replacing the air filter oil and other maintence issues. but i cant decide what to get for the car..
Money is not a big issue but main problem is the CNG INJECTOR LIFE. Does anyone have any experience with the injectors? I believe its the same injectors as the LIANA.
