    Question Engine Swap 86 Corolla

I want to swap my old 12 valve engine (2E) with new one. Want advise, what will be the best option (new engine should also be 1300 cc, can`t afford to have 1.5 or 1.7 because of fuel consumption). also tell me the price range because i`ve no idea.

Go for 4EFE tublar intake 1300cc one. Its fuel efficient and also much more power full than your current 2E.
Speed costs money, how fast can you afford to go.

bigger engine wil give you better economy because of lesser stress on it. 1.3 will be overworked in this car hence will use more fuel. an upgrade to EFI engine in 1.3 will give you very little economy or power increase.
Keep a cool head and wear seatbelts!

So you are suggesting to for 16 Valve (1500 or 1600 CC) ?
Will it be more economical than my current 2E ?
