the compressor is not the last word in A/C performance - if your A/c repair shop feeds you "compressor farigh story" for loss of performance - ask him has he taken into account the temperature delta of the liquid line and that the expansion valve is not floating.
Usually mechanics hate the 10 cylinder Denso compressor of the 3rd gen Honda Accord and promptly swap out with a Sanden (to rip money off the owner).
