    Default Need help in performance mod of my altis 1.8 Cruisetronic

    Assalam o alikum,i have corolla altis 1.8 AutoCruise control,
    now i am looking for some performance upgrade..
    i am noob in this field could u people please let me knw that what i have to add to get most of my car..

    what is stage 1?

    what do i have to add ??

    let me knw about the expenses,

    i cant afford to swap engines..

    Brother Level 1 is a waste of money and time.

    Swap a 2ZZGE engine from shershah.

    It will cost you nearly 200K with uncut wiring and ECU.

    They will take your engine for 75K.

    Keep another 50K for labour and miscellaneous work.

    Your existing 4 speed ECT auto will work with the engine if you will not abuse it to redline frequently.

    Its a bolt on swap you dont have to change many things except for wiring.

    It drinks high octane.

    have u read my last line brother??

    I clearly said that i can swap engine
    dont have that much budget, plus its a family car

    dont want to win a race.. just to get some more of my ride

    ^it's a family car and you still want to go for stage 1 mods? Can you bear the loud f@rt can exhaust sound with your family on board?

    Stage 1 mods are a waste of money. Been there done that.
    You can go for piggyback but those also cost above 50k for a good one.
    All motor built is also an option but that is even more expensive than a swap.
    Swap is the only option to extract more power. Manage your funds for a swap and drive it like the way it is designed to be driven. I.e like an econobox.
    Otherwise sell it and go for rx8.

    as far as i have hear
    stage 1 do make difference

    Header,air intake, plugs all these things do make change

    now i dont want to make my car a bullet..

    just want to make it faster from stock simple!

    K&N header will give you max 2-4 horse power but you cannot afford it.

    MSD Ignition can add another 5 horsepower but its also 10-15K.

    Any types of plugs in the world including Adamantium plugs will give you max 0.5 horsepower unless your stock plugs are already fried.

    If 132 horsepowers are not enough for you then another 5 wont make much difference.

    There are no shortcuts to success.
