    Arrow Advics PV565H-FG

The tenth generation Corolla E140 comes fitted with Advics PV565H-FG from Indus motors' factory. It is a good pad with FG edge code (also called DOT pad code, and is alloted using SAE J866 standard after running the material through SAE J661 friction test). Doubt you'll find any replacement pad in the local market competent enough to have a friction code on its label.

If you can find Akebono etc. which could provide even better than stock performance, they will most probably be counterfeit and will still cost at least twice the OEM ones. (Re-lined sheet on Akebono backplates).

To save money, you can buy from the dealership and get them fitted from outside.

And oh - leather? Leather is an obsolete material for braking. Your car has 4-wheel disc brakes and will never see leather linings.

NOTE: Not necessary that you get OEM replacement Advics pads even if from factory Advics came fitted in your car. AFAIR 4th gen Honda City came with Nissin pads from the Atlas factory but the OEM replacement pads were Sumitomo. (Sumitomo and Advics are 2 brands of the same company though). The user experience was identical and people couldn't tell one from the other.

Your life depends on this stuff. Dont cheap out on brake pads. Im sure you can go to toyota 3s and buy the pads only. They are pretty long lasting, I'm using them for 30k kms and the brakes are still very good.
    Also change brake oil yearly.
