    Default cultus fuel pump

    Aslaam alikum,
I am driving cultus carbi, Thing is whenever I drive it on petrol, it dies after a few Kms, but restarts promptly,

    What I did
Change the fuel pump, after two days same problem occurs.
again tried kabli mitsubishi this time, after two or three days smooth run, problem comes back, then I tried the external fuel pump mitsubishi, and guess what the disease is still there.
what also I did repaired the butterfly that's what mechanic called it, plus cleaning the carburetor. All this process cost me around 6k.

Now some other mechanic is telling me the problem is in the carburetor.

Any good advise? anybody else face the same problem if so what you did.

    Thanks in advance

I drive a cultus carbi as well and faced similar problem. I had driven my car on CNG for a long time due to which my fuel tank had become rusted. Because of the rusted fuel, car would not work on petrol plus fuel pump also stopped working. I changed fuel pump, fuel tank and fuel filter. Now the problem has been solved and car runs fine on petrol.

Main Problem was the Tank (it was rusty and in bad condition)...they replaced it and replaced Fuel Filter and also the cover of Fuel Pump in which it resides (it has a jaali under its cover that purify fuel(tries to stop kachara) with in the tank). This solved my problem. now it runs on Petrol as there was no issue at all

Edit: If it doesn't solve ur problem then get ur Carborator serviced or checked.

    Thanks
