what i think is that , your Car needs a carburator job.. Usually when the fuel goes more than required! then the car starts missing and loosing power... At high RPM your carb is unable to control the supply..
Its always better to consult a mechanic

Get the ignition timing advance mechanism checked, which is installed in distributor,if it is not functioning properly, then this problem can be arisen.

Brother two areas to check . i faced the same problem and after getting it checked with my very experienced mechanic. i decided to give it DIY shot myself.

check 1 -) If your car is Carb. just servicing the carb will not necessarily solve the issue. there maybe a problem with the carb, such as valves malfunction or one of the jets jammed or not working properly or some other problem in car, plunger etc. Check the vaccum equiment attached to the carb check, all vaccums units should be working normally and the vaccum pipes should fit in tightly on all of them. replace if a vaccum is not working properly.

If it is an EFI - it could be multiple problems in the same area, (a) Injectors; faulty of jammed (b) sensor not working properly (c) - auto choke interferring with throttle body water section.

check 2-) removed and inspect your fuel pump - if you find it faulty then that is your baby. replace the pump with a new one. as faulty ones can shiver and shake on full throttle. a pump was my problem at least and after diagnosis i replaced it and car never stopped after that.

    hope this helps
