For a new petrol driven car,A/C is good milage has to be 12 plus kms, performs good at highways, engine noise is annoying even being an EFI, wind noise is what you even get in a Altis or Civic at high speeds,so adore it.

I have kept Cultus VXRi petrol (November 2010) for 2 years and Cultus VXR 2007 with FF CNG (still have it). I shall give my opinion as per my experience in terms of comparison of the two.

    Cultus 2010 VXRi (EFi) (Petrol):
A/C: Just fine. Neither bad nor too good. Gets the work done though. Used on petrol so no idea about CNG version.
Acceleration: Excellent in its class. (many people may not agree but Cultus that we had, its pick was just awesome)
Mileage: 10-11 km/L in the city with A/C and 12-13 km/L without A/C. 13-14 km/L on long route with A/C and about 15 km/L without A/C. Some owners claim mileage as high as 18 km/L but I guess it depends upon driving style. I never got more than that.
Engine noise: Bearable. Not bad, but obviously more than JDM Vitz, Passo etc.
Wind Noise: it is there. Cabin is not quiet, u can easily hear horns honking and traffic noise.
Built Quality: Pathetic. Had to handle the things with extreme care. Driver side door lock went bad only after 5 months of purchase.

Cultus 2007 VXR (non-EFi) (FF CNG):
A/C: Just ok. Gets the work done on long routes, doesn't work well within the city in June/July heat.
Acceleration: Pathetic, and with CNG and A/C it just seems to die.
Mileage: (on petrol): Within the city or on long routes I found its mileage to be better than EFi Cultus that I had.
(On CNG): with A/C maximum I managed to get is more than 195 km on a long route in a single cylinder.
Engine noise: Much more than EFi. Not good.
Wind noise: Cabin is not quiet. Wind noise at high speeds is there.
Built Quality: Not good, but far better than new Cultus, things don't just seem to come off as in new Cultus.

kept a 05 cultus for 3 years..driven on petrol for initial years and then just 2 years on CNG (not ff)..

Average is 11-13kmpl. A/c is average. u will not like it if u have routine driving in hot summer days since the blower is not good.
wind and engine noise ...hmmm wat do u expect from a 1.0 litre mediocre (even from Paki standards) hatchback...
build quality used to be average. i kept an 05 cultus n can easily say new ones are even more pathetic build quality. atleast the color on my dash never faded even after 8 years but have seen many newer ones with faded dash.
Whenever a bird shits on my car, I eat a plate of scrambled eggs on my front porch just to let them know what I'm capable of...

    how is the a/c
It is very nice better than ALTO, Cuore etc.

    used on petrol
I use it on petrol not CNG because Euro-II does not support as much CNG system it is better that have to drive on petrol instead of CNG if u look for cng so i recommand to u Cuore CX ECO or CULTUS VXR no vxri or Euro-II etc.

    How is mileage ?
It gives 14 km with AC within city and 18 km with AC on highway but speed not more than 110 km/hr. i fu go 110 km/hr speed on highway then consumption increases.

How is engine noise/wind noise at highway speeds

Engine noise is gud and better grip than ALTO and even cuore too

He is right dear. CULTUS AC is better than ALTO .. especially it doesn't lose much power on Ac as compared to ALTO.
