    Default Car horn mute

    I don't know what happened with my car horn. It is suddenly mute while driving.

    Does your car has single horn or double?
    Do check them by directly connecting to battery..
    Horn must be in front of radiator...!

    One thing. ..f there any fuse on the horn? Maybe the wire got sparked.

    Yeah in total there may be much things that can possibly went wrong... Horn Fuse, wiring, relay, there's a plate at the back of the steering wheel through which horn works, might be a loose connection, horn needs some adjustment from the screw behind, at last horn has given up (completed life).

    You can do this your self if you have some tools.. And basic knowledge about wiring.

    ^what he said.

    There is a way to check if horn is dead. Use a Multimeter and check for resistance between horn terminals. If the meter shows max or 1 on various ranges then it is dead. I got this info from a YouTube video but i haven't tried it.

    Yeah this also works in some case's.. But in my case this didn't worked... My horn was showing resistance but wasn't working... Adjusting the horn from screw behind... Nothing worked in my case.....I just scrapped that and bought a new one...😛
