AoA.
Today, in a rush of going somewhere, I poured byco petrol in my carby cultus 07. I normally use PSO or Shell (last fill)
Everything was fine before that until reaching pump.
Drive was long so had to shift gear barely, that too 3rd nothing lower.
but at a point i had to shift to 2nd gear, as I shift to 2nd car rpm drop to 1000 (idle of my car) and had very hard time rising up.
I stopped the car. started from 1st gear until 3k rpm and shifted to 2nd. rpm dropped to 1k and rose very slowly. Again stopped the car. started but instead of 2nd i shifted to 3rd gear from 1st. rpm dropped from 3k to 2k and increased better than 2nd to 3k rpm.
no behavior was received from 4th and 5th gear.
I parked the car for 1.5 hour at destination. when I started again, it knocked badly with rpm drop for 300 to car off. then 400 then 500 and finally after much acceleration car idled at 1000 rpm after 5-6 tries. On way back i did try using 2nd gear and same behavior was shown.
I am thinking about bad fuel pump, dirty fuel, carb dirt,
need your opinion before going to mechanic. as they try to start by expensive parts 1st
