Does Cuore reduce oil when driven hard (110-130 kmph mostly) ?
I have recently noticed this as I have a daily drive of 100km between two cities (50km one side) due to my job and due to job timing issue and I end up driving fast as soon as I find clear track in between braking due to traffic
Oil in use is Shell Helix Ultra 5w40
Oil filter is Denso Toyota Thailand part
My mileage is 201,000 km approx and it is 2009 manual Cuore
A little smell of oil burn in morning start ups, however no blue smoke yet
If on warmed up engine i quickly floor the pedal (red line the thing) small amount of blue smoke and some smell (not significant)
To counter it, I topped up from the 4L Shell Helix Ultra bottle
On dip stick oil level reading is 1cm lower than the Full mark towards the Low mark
The reduction I noticed is 300ml after 1500 Km of use
I have kept this car like my baby and fed it with all the best and regularly/throughout
What you suggest guys in above scenario? Weak seals? or is it normal for ed-10 to eat some oil in higher rpm driving?
Can some one also confirm what is the RPM reading of Cuore on these speeds? (100kmph, 110kmph, 120 and 130kmph) ones who have installed RPM meters
