Default Cuore Petrol Smell after accident

Hey.. Recently i had an accident in my cuore 2005 a/t . Although it was not a major accident i had to repair some dents put a new radiator and headlights one problem which is not showing any sign of improvement is that while driving there is a strong smell of petrol so much so that it starts to irritate my eyes.
I took my car to the mechanic and he thoroughly checked there was no leakage of petrol from anywhere. Although he mentioned that packaging needs to be changed in the engine because it was kinda wet. After changing it the engine is dry and clean but the smell is still there .. I am confused and unable to understand why petrol smell is not going..
    Need urgent help
    Thanks...

There must be the leakage, this leakage should be under air filter compartment, open the air filter compartment, so you can see the carburetor. Switch on the engine, and leakage will only be visible when you start the engine......

if the smell is inside the cabin you need to cross check the fuel tank by removing the rear seat bench, check for the return fuel line connected. ensure that till such time you get over the problem you remove lighter away in compartment & no body smoke in your car at all.
