I am sorry for late response, I tried taking a good and clear picture of my setup today but because lack of room in engine bay none of the pictures shows anything of value. I'll have to take a snap from under the car next time its on a lift.

1 thing i wanna knw i have 74 mark2 as well the chaisi plate says "3H1 T302" abt color code but 3H1 is actually red...while my car is green.......the color is as close to waht u have in yr ride.so i am confised abt wht the real color code is.......all i knw is the first coating(ASTER) is red actually......can u plz help me out on tht issue?????

And the chasis plate is nt changed it has right coding for frame no so me sure the plate is the real one...maybe i am missing on something. Yr help is required.

No real progress on my Celica yet but I have picked up a 74 Corolla with 20v Blacktop 4age with ITB's will post some pictures once I have it here.

Rizwan VIN plate on my MarkII was missing when I got the car therefore I cant reference anything.

Spotted this coupe in Isb. Didnt know where to post it so I'm posting it here in your thread. It was running a 1G-GTE and was at the electrician's getting its wiring sorted out.

Nice spotting... MKII coupe are quite rare in Pakistan.. this is the only 3rd one I have ever seen... Owners of previous 2 MKII coupe were some sort of Dodge Challenger fanatics, ruined their rides... this one seems preserved.. engine choice is also very good! 1G-GE is a good power plant!

Yup I also was grateful to the fact that this guy hadnt ruined it by turning it into a challenger or something that this car is not. He kept its originality and the finish on the paint was remarkable. I just loved the work done on it. Though a couple of things that I didnt like were the rims and the exhaust.

Qwais, Great spotting, and I agree on the rims and exhaust tail pipes.

1G is a very good engine and can be turbo charged.

Ansar bhai, as far as I know these early MarkII's didnt come with strut towers. Unless this is a 76/77 year car but 76/77 MarkII's had different bumpers/hood/grilles then this one.
Early MarkII's came with A-arms ... This must be a custom job and I hapen to like it.

I just hope the owner keep its original interior as well.

I am just thrilled to see these old JTIN's getting some much deserved attention.

I have lots of brochures and stuff about this particular model but I have not seen this type of suspension.. I am sure its a custome job..

Interior are less likely to be original, as the problem with MKIIs are that its dash cracks very quickly and very badly...

I know all about the dash on these cars or for that matter most
old JTIN's But what I dont understand is the idea of replacing whole dash board.

IMO replacing the original Dashboard is absolute madness!!
