Sorry for my delayed response on this.
Basits work is very good. Probably the best Karachi has to offer. I heard of the denter in Khamosh colony quite sometime ago. I believe he is salamat/shaboo. Have never met him but I do believe his work must be good since he is said to be the only guy skilled enough to replace a frame head on a bug and not ruin the car.
I know Romano is really really pissed off at Basit as my bug is delayed for long. Actually I too am to blame since I did not breathe down his neck liek I should have to complete the bug. He knows I want it slow and steady. Oh btw I went slow as I can slowly inject cash (and some parts) in as per availablility.
Basit does quote heavy amounts but at the end of the day its worth it. One comes to this conclusion after getting work done by him.
He cannot skin you if you know what you are doing. He does come up with many hard to find bits which are snapped up for good prices. I must warn you, the VW scene is changing and cars and parts are now changing hands at prices once thought to be ridiculously high.
