After looking at this i was like " OH LORD " ....

But now you have to make room for the Big radiator, you have to extend the car 2-4 inches to accommodate that. Also you have to place the battery in the trunk that will save you a lot of space.

Good going so far.... Also did you upgraded the suspension ??

khanrocks khan thaknx for compliments .yea inshALLAH radiator wil b place in maner .i will try to place the battery in hood.n inshALLAH tomorrow im goin to bring rear n front suspension.rear will surf and front will cresidda.

good going so far and try things mentioned by @khanrocks plus i think u will be using a maintenance free battery so place it in trunk our relitives had stock car like that they placed a truck battery in trunk as it was impossible to start in winter

I have to applaud your efforts in trying something different and I don't usually
discourage these sorts of builds and I have to say your engine does look in pretty good condition(the startup will only confirm that fact) but this car is totally wrong for this project, the structural rigidity and sturdiness of this car is just not present and the fact coupled with the rust and the archaic steering and suspension could lead to some serious troubles down the lane.

a quick overhaul of all the OEM parts wont make it ready for a 1JZ-GTE

please reconsider your car choice and plot a budget for the total costs involved as these things get out of hand pretty easily.

don't take this reply the wrong way I have seen a couple of cars turning out to be real sour lemons , so I gave my opinion if you should choose to accept it or reject it because in the end you are the person who has to make the choices.

I appreciate your reply and no I am neither studying nor am I talking about aerodynamics I just wanted to shift your attention towards the flimsiness of the stock Mark 1 Corona chassis and still a 70 series Corolla that you were talking about has a better suspension,brakes and chassis package than a Mark 1 Corona

It is very good that you proved my point by posting these two videos

lets get the rotary 73' Corona out of the way as it has a torque less NA (naturally aspirated) rotary engine, which isn't a problem for the Corona.

I have had the pleasure of viewing this car's build on an Australian automotive forum
now you have to see for yourself that this car is running a full drag racing rear axle , slicks, a drag racing transmission and not to forget loads of structural integrity input.

Lets imagine for a second that we are in the 70's and this RT80/RT90 corona has just rolled off the assembly line.(remember its the fuel crisis days) lol:P
