SALAM GUYS....Recently completed my first DIY PROJECTOR RETROFIT project and after 1 week of hard work it came out awesome MASHALLAH.....
Overall retrofitting is not a difficult task if understood correctly the time consuming steps are the separation of the headlight and mounting of the projector correctly....These valeo projectors are 3inch in diameter so the parking light got blocked after mounting the projector so it was time to find a new place for parking light...First i sealed the parking light hole from behind using a piece of plastic and silicone...Then got an idea of using leds in turn signal housing then after drilling 4 holes for only leds to fit inside housing....it looked cool.
Forgot to take pics during the project BUT FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS....(H)

My ride : Corolla Gli 2006 previously had hid in stock housing which was full of glare and the light was not focused on the road and the range was also not gud..........and now these projectors are far far better than hid in stock u can see the difference.........currently have only daylight pics i will add more pics tonight....enjoy

THINGS I USED:-

Spare set of brand new headlights same like OEM got them for cheap 5500rs
VALEO bi-xenon projectors (source GMC acadia headlights)
Shrouds (source GMC acadia headlights)
VALEO 6G ballasts very slim and takes 2 sec to heat the bulbs to max (source GMC acadia headlights)
OSRAM XENARC D1S bulbs OEM 4300k Not available here (source GMC acadia headlights)
PHILIPS amber led patches these are very bright used 4 of them (source GMC acadia headlights)
Dremel tool
Magic depoxi
Cutting blade for cutting bulb holder
RTV high temp silicone
Custom made connectors for leds to use in stock parking light socket
Custom made plugs for Ballast power wires to fit plug and play in 9006 stock wiring

ALL WORK DONE BY MY SELF EVEN WIRING except fitting of headlights lol

Here's the pics of night time.....notice the custom led parking lights they are very bright....the throw is awesome and these pics are of low beam only because i opted not to use high beam because stock high beam was too bright....the car was standing on a uneven surface so there is a slight tilt cutoff

Fantastic work.
Your rotational alignment of projectors is slightly off though.. Clockwise rotation to fix driver side and Counter-clockwise to level out passenger side. I guess you know this already :P. Please post some pics with Highbeam, just wanna check their placement with respect to cutoff step.

ya i know that they need slight adjustments :)....will post pics in a day or two with high beams......between i wanted to know two things of your retrofit 1.Why didn't you use OEM ballasts? i know they are expensive but are 100 times better in quality and endurance and takes 2 seconds to warm up the bulbs than aftermarket stuff 2. are you using D2S bulbs in your projectors?? don't mind i just wanted to know these
