4efte is what I call chocolate piston engine - btw its really really tiny for a heavy car like a corona - you need low rpm torque to move such a car, this can be done two ways, lower the gearing (not possible as japs dont give a damn to it hence dont make such geaboxes) or get a bigger engine that can twist at low rpm.
For this car a 7AFE would be ideal, perfect bolt on fit. You can also shoehorn a 3SFE in there.
