i have a suggestion, though dont try it unless u can afford spare headlights!!! correct me if i am wrong, but it seems that the entire light housing on a civic is not used as a headlight. just the reflective portion which the bulb is facing (the bulb seems to face the INSIDE of the headlight, its light is reflected back by the reflective surface inside the headlight. if i am correct, then all u have to do is pry open the cover off the headlight (its usually stuck to the housing with glue, but can be pulled off if done carefully), paint all the NON-REFLECTIVE surfaces around the headlight black and then stick the cover back with silicone so dust and water dont go inside the headlight. this seems to be done to the lights in the pics too.
