ASA! since im making an exo skeletol tubular framed vehicle as my final year design project......so i thought of sharing it wid u guyz.......suggestions are more than welcome.....
my inspiration are ariel atom,kirkham rush and caparo t1.......
the scope of my project is to design a frame in a cad/camsoftware.perform its bending stress,torsional stress and shearing stress analysis analytically as well doing a detailed stress analysis in a cad/cam software.......
i forgot to mention the best part....i gotta fabricate it as well...a do it yourself project
the first frame i designed in pro-e.n
i personaly dint like square tubings coz they cant b bended,n secondly dis frame wasn't at all aesthetically appealing......so a fibre glass body was a must to give it a good appearance
so i then went for circular tubing primarily because i could add free bends in my frame,n secondly circular tubings are stronger than square tubings.....although welding them is difficult but its worth all the pain in the end.....
heres the new design..
.it isnt complete yet,a few trusses remaining fer strengthening the frame.front end ov the frame has to be modified fer the suspension linkages.......im using 4afe in the start as im outa cash.........for suspension im using double unequal lenght wishbones(custom made)......
i only have a month to complete this entire task....i knw its looks a bit far fetched but i somehow have to make it possible.......
