@OP please snap picture with a close up on the distributor. if it is without a vaccum advance then it is a possibly CDI type electronic distributor from a 2E engine

ok i magnified the picture... It has the vac.advancer plus the condenser. it is installed other way round. on that engine. It is same as what i have posted you can visit shershah junk yards and locate it - simply a corolla 86-88 distributor

As this engine is a mazda clone - it can be that too, more known as the mazda 323 (1300cc) engine distributor.
ya u r rite i found on net sum mazda 1500cc and 1300cc engines with distributor

yumm MAZDA FE DOHC - this is one mother magnum of an engine. I LOVE IT - Long time ago I tuned a SOHC FE engine with 4 barrel carby - and mother of God that 626 sedan could pull like mad.
aj mene engine open kia tapet cover aur cam sensor jaha distributer lagna hai, mere mechanic ne kaha k silver bush lagy ga aur cam me cut lagy ga to 5afe ya 2e wala distributer lag sakta hai alteration karni pare gi, mene rings b dalni thi socha aik bar kam karwa loo coz gari thora sa blow de rahi thi lekin jab plugs kholy to koi b oil nhi tha plug me problem pcv valve me tha jo tappet cover k under koi khana bana hota hai jaha se pcv valve air leta hai,wo kachre se bhara hua tha is lie blow arahi thi blow pipe se coz pcv valve sara pressure le leta hai jab choke hota hai to sari air blow se ati hai (good going my mechanic),ab distributor dhoodna hai kabli markeet se jo fit ajae bush na lagana pary,
