Help needed diesel engine!

Experts esp. Zulfiqar bhai aoa.. i have a very well maintained 4x4 3200cc diesel. i totally love my car. just a week ago enigne had no issues at all but i had my car serviced throughly and the person at wash station while washing the engine pulled a rubber pipe which was attached to the engine. i dont know what this is for but while travelling after wash check engine light turned on and the car felt low on power as well.. i.e. no pickup and power.. but i travled for like 50 km same way. at home i checked the engine and found that pipe was unattached. i attached it again and check light was gone and pickup became normal but now it is taking a long time at first start in the morning plus also giving smoke on starting.. only on starting but becomes ok after once started?? any clues???

was the engine hot or cold when washed? next time avoid engine wash(either a diesel or patrol engine)

engine was cold because of my awaited turn but yes the person at station sprayed diesel on the engine as well and under whole body of my car. and after reading a few forums i felt that was totally a diastar. my car used to start at first sec of ignition even if it was parked for a week but now it takes like 3,4 seconds to start and theres smoke at starting but then car become normal afterwards? somedays it even start normal as well?
could that be an issue with bad fuel??

That is the pipe there encircled in red.. its a mitsubishi 3.2 diesel, i have the car for a long time now it never reduces the engine oil. Engine is perfect never had any issues so far but this WASH... i dont know what happend but i just want to undo that wash PLEASE HELP ME !!!!
is it possible the reason is just bad diesel??

any check engine light?
it can be anything from leaked vacuum pipes, chocked diesel filter, faulty sensor. just hope its not a pump issue. its an eletronic pump

no. there is no check engine light. pick up is great. fuel consumption is great. just car takes a long self while starting in the morning. also gives black smoke on cold start. which it never ever gave before that pipe got un plugged.. i think Xulifqar bhai might suggest something?

and diesel pump is as good as new. we installed it new just 3,4 months ago

Check fuel filter and timing then nozzles

fuel filter was replaced as well but nozzles? i think i should take it to mechanic which i truely hate.

thanks alot who tried to help... but the only problem was only a loose plug of fuel filter. the car was taking air and causing trouble ALHAMDULILAH my car is back to track and i can bet its the best ALHAMDULILAH

Is it a coomonrail diesel? can u post complete pocture of engine bay?

Googled it and it is a 4M41 direct injection diesel. No need to so anything with nozzles or pump. I think the 50 km u ran with vaccum pipe detached has acumulated dust inside soemthing. I would have chaged the solenoid or whatever that vaccum pipe is attached to. A picture wuth engine cover removed will help.
