At the Geneva Motor Show Italian coachbuilder Bertone will unveil a roadster concept based on the Panda 100-hp. It will feature an aluminum frame and some transparent body panels.
According to the first details revealed by Winding Road Magazine, the concept is a compact two-seater with a barchetta-styled body and could mark the beginning of a new partnership between Bertone and Fiat Group, which in more than 80 years have produced about 50 models.
The powertrain comes from the Panda 100-hp (1.4 liters 16 valves engine), so the concept, whose official name is still unknown, is expected to offer performances slightly better than the original (top speed of 185 km/h and 0-100 km/h acceleration in 9.5 seconds).
