This lock does not provide 100% security. Recently my cousin's corola got stolen from his home. His car had tracker, steering lock, security system and this clutch bar. Still his car is gone.

I am not saying that the lock is not worth it. Atleast we can give some trouble to the thief by having this lock.

i am using this clutch bar with lock, i am satisfied and feel secure every time about my car.........I think GSM based Tracking systems and other electronic devices are useless....but i will prefer to use this iron/steel made clutch bar with lock......

Very sad
At least I can say that thief got enough time to steal the car. An hour is required to overcome all mentioned securities.
This american lock is unbreakable, only way to get rid of this lock is some sort of solution to pour on it and it takes at least 20 minutes to break.

dear i been using American Steel lock with curved key in my mehran. and believe me my car was attempted twice everytime i found my cross rod clips broken but Allah ka Bohat Bohat shuker hai car was safe.
the steering got stuck there and costed me 500rs to fix the issue.

china lock is flop now.

now i have bought city and unfortunatly it doesnt support steering lock so i am looking for some kinda lock.

Sir g good news 4 u FYI u can use such lock in City,,, i also have new city,,, u have to remove a plastic shield its a 8 X 15 inch plastic under the dashboard..

a bit hard to reach place but u get used to it...

today i saw it installed in a corolla,he showed that when he started the car without showing the card,car did got started but it turned off after 1 min,n it wasnt starting until he placed the car next to some sensor under the steering,so is it a good n worthy thing to get?

i ve got it in my car and its good,these all systems are not fool proof but to gain time .i got it for 6800 .6000 for device and 800 installation charges charged by 15.i am satisfied with it,i couldnt got for clutch bar as my veh has auto transmission and clutch bar cant be used in it

i also have auto transmission but that clutch bar seems useless since it is finally locked with china lock which is easily breakable
