A Car theft and Recovery - Corolla GLI 2012

Bro I am from Ilaka gher, never seen stolen corollas there except one odd cases. PPL over there are fans of NCP JDM station wagon type cars.
2ndly y ll some1 buy these local stolen corollas over when they have a wide choice of NCP cars on jaw dropping cheaper prices.
3rdly gone are the days when u had to pass through a single check post and bingo u were in ilaka gher . No! its not the case any more. now there are countless check posts before and after entering ilaka gher and on every check post except driver and ladies everyone get dismounted of their vehicles move in a line towards the check post, where their id cards are being checked, body search and interview sort of interrogation. For vehicles there is a separate counter where the driver is checked, body search, vehicle search, documents and then all the details are noted down in a register. Yes for every vehicle . This is the standard operating procedure both for leaving and entering ilaka gher. and this is not at a single post there are many of them where these SOPs are followed.
You tell me how a stolen car can make its way to ilaka gher keeping in view the above?

if there are so many check posts then how do they get NCP cars in there :S

I was browsing through the posts and I realized that this robbery was very similar to my situation, although the car jackers managed to make off with my car. They came sometime around 3 in the morning, cut off the hooks on the main gate and the locks fell off. They even took care of my guard dog and drugged him. The police couldn't believe they handled my dog after witnessing it's ferocity first hand. My Dog had been going crazy at nights for the last month and a half. I had no idea it was because of the thieves coming in and casing the place. The bottom line is that I had the car for over a year now and had been told by several people to take care as corollas are most vulnerable to theft. I never thought they'd take it away from home though. The incident occured on the 11th of June and I didn't have insurance. All being said and done, i pray that this trend dies out soon.

Brother sorry about your loss what you need now is an AK47 oiled and loaded coming to the other fella who got his veh stolen and its with Ex DG ISI's daughter brother you should have verified your car if it was your vehicle u should have gone public i think they would have helped you cuz the upper brass is quite touchy about their rep.NOw there is one thing that is bothering me do you think educated guys are involved in this i mean are they reading this thread gathering intel correcting there procedures trying to stay one step ahead best solution would be to come up with one's own genuine idea like the guy who has made his own micro switch something out of the ordinary

Bro we are damn sure that it was our car, we are confident about it that's why i am making this public after a whole year. Now coming to the point of them helping us..hahahahaha what a a joke. we asked fr their help, my father had a chat with Hamid Gul sahab but they were least interested. And i assure you there is not even a single false word that ive said..this story is true. and that was our car for sure..

Almost the same incident happened to one of my colleagues. They broke the rear quarter glass of Corolla and ultimately opened the steering console. However, they fled due to some reason. And would you believe this incident occured twice but luckily on both he occasions they somehow failed to take away the car. He was then forced to sell his Corolla.

Whatever it is, we all know that till the time these car thieves (the garbage of society) have police patronage no one can stop them. And what about places like Chah Sultan in Pindi, where everybody knows that stolen car parts are also sold along with second hand parts? The corrupt police will never do anything to stop that too.

omg....same thing happened to my mamun's corolla gli back in 2010....he had bought it 3 days before the incident happened but by the grace of God it was an unsuccesful attempt

just a few days ago a colleague of my uncle in his office bought a brand new gli
at night he just reached home and parked it in his garage and in the morning it was gone

Yar im scared what to do with our cars. nothing works in front of these car lifters, no lock, no krook lock, alaram system, even tracker,
I think its time to think somthing to avoid this,

Bro... I have personally experienced it with my car therefore I wrote it....
A theft attempt was made on my car,and the tracker provider locked it. We came back to home after a trip. Car was at home... I unlocked my car, as I have the genuine key, kicked the ignition but car was dead. Tried to open the bonnet to check the battery, but the button was dead too. Then called the Tracker provider, the CRO asked me to hit the ignition and bonnet opener after 15 sec..... and bingo everything was back in order....True Story....

Seems a good tracker company... whats the name.. are u still using its service ??

Every lock or trakker can be broken. But still we need to use them, so that it gives the theif some hard time and more N more time is consumed to take over the car. I therfeore suggest all PW members to suggest the best locks/security systems/trackers.

Offcourse everyone should recite AYAT UL QURSI .. no doubt over it
