Good one Slang
Sherwan, are these your Kharian guy's prices. Does he have a NOS Carb ? You paid a heavy price for that differential ?
I have serious doubts about what they call NOS here and what NOS actually is. Here, anything cleaned up and shinny shall be sold as NOS ............. a NOS diff I surely cannot fathom.
Guys, we have to face it ........... we just cannot get what we want and how we want it. I have recently had a chance to work on and go through an engine rebuilt of a 1984 Jaguar Soverign 4.2, as rare as it can be and we still managed to get parts of it here somewhere, but when you ask the same people about MUTT parts, they look at you like you are crazy or something.
The Jag's rebuilt engine.
My MUTT's engine.
We get the slightest bit of dirty fuel and our carbs garrote, we can't get the quality seals to last us a round of off-roading. Take it to a mechanic and he'll tell you numerous things, why because he wants an easy way out too ....... that's why the suggestions of putting in other carbs, or seals of 'london chaddar'
You yourself are a witness to it, where were these MUTTs 2-3 years ago ? All of a sudden there has been an influx of them in the market all over and those who want it, want it and those who have them, know that people who want it, will take it for whatever price.
For them its business ......... for me a Passion.
HAPPY MUTTING GUYS !
