6-10 is a very tight range. What do you mean by long rides ? Family ?? How many do you want to seat ?

You can start by looking at the Grand Sportage, but that'll be on the top side of your range.

Suggest you pay a visit to kashmir rd & surrouding areas & keep looking at these sites for one.

    Good luck

Jeepa bhai, thank you for offering your car certainly I will evaluate it. Looks like an excellent, clean car. My only issue is that it is in petrol. I prefer a diesel version of the same model, still I can consider this if it is in outclass condition. I have seen a red color Surf in 2004 registered 06, diesel version at a showroom for 9.5 lacs. That was 3.0 Liter original toyo diesel, dont remember the engine name but I think it was not 1KZ, something else. The condition was not outclass rather good. The dealer was saying that he can arrange a meeting with the seller and the price was negotiable like anything b/w 8.5 to 9.0 lac.

Another mistake, the surf at dealer is 1994, registered 1996, demand 9.5 but negotiable.

Sarmad, I need 4x4 for myself and friends for adventures. It can be a 3 door, hard top with 5 persons capacity. I dont need it for family runs. I have already checked and drived Grand Sportage before. It has a very good sporty shape but very mediocre engine and body work. The drive is lil better than suzuki bolan and interior is all plasticky with nothing special about it. I have seen most engines of Sportage replaced within 5 years even if used by the families. I think the body have been built locally in Pakistan and engine is mazda so nothing original in it. New imported sportage is much better in performance.

Bhayoon, I am also searching for Nissan Patrol in a good condition. What about the following one:

    https://www.pakwheels.com/xt_details.asp?CarID=61688

I have seen many patrols at different dealers. Most of them is in a very bad shape, rusty and crumbling. One in a very good condition that have seen at some PECHS showroom. That was imported Safari 94, 2000 registered 3 doors, 4200 cc diesel. Compact car with a huge engine. Dealer was asking 10 lacs for that. Jeep was in a very good condition with beige interior. Please advise me about Patrol and are they worth buying. How are they maintenance wise? Spares and mechanics available in Karachi?

Thank you Marshal, your jeep is in very good condition. For that price, I may get some 1990s Pajeros or Patrols.

    @ JeeperCreeper.....

Yes, Pajero is a good choice but for a good Nissan Patrol, you must increase the size of your pocket & the main door of your home ....

Anyways, Good Luck to your deals.

Marshal bhai, thanks for your suggestion. Your jeep is also excellent and it is short-listed in the top 5 I need to check some 4x4 this weekend and may contact you next week. Thanks for your interest. I certainly agree with you regarding the size of Patrol, its lil too big but I love to drive a big, ugly unpractical jeep with 4.2l diesel engine, specially during the rainy season.

But be very careful when purchasing a Patrol!! The 'Patrols' I have to this date seen are all doubtful machines that need to be examined carefully by True Experts. I hope you are or have one!!

Sajid's Surf looks nice and feels as a powerful machine. Good luck on your hunt!!

Tasveero k saath saath mithaye lana na bhooliyega after the purchase!
    Nothing to see here.
