My car would give me MAXIMUM 8 if i kept a really light foot, but usually it returned no more than 5-6 in town and would average aroudn 10 on the motorway.
When i say me driving it i mean me as in any young driver 9sometimes hard sometimes light driving)
As anoffroader it the sportage is pathetic if you actually try to use it like a 4x4. If you consider it something like an alternative to an AWD corrolla station wagon it's not s bad then.
As far as i know the pajero will give better/similar milage than a sportage but with more power at similar rpm's.
I'd advise you to go for a sportage ONW if you need the space,.. oterwise a 2.0D makes more sense. But ifyou want to go offroading (serious offroading) you should consider a coil spring SJ or a used defender 90.
