    Default Trip to Dheraji, Baluchistan

    Place: Dheraji, Baluchistan.

    4x4s: 20 some off roaders including jeeps, defenders,
    toyotas and nissans.

    People: Friends and families

    Duration: 3 Days, 2 nights. ( i spent only 2 days, 1 night).

    Here are some pictures from the trip. More to follow. It would be great if Pakwheel off roaders can also organize and arrange trips like these.

    Oh by the way, I cant go for another trip till Aug end due to family comitments.

    AridSoul..first tell me why is your soul arid? (-:

    I dont know much about the mini pajero but will find out the technical specs and get back to you. I do know that it is 660 cc.

    It did not get stuck any where and crossed every hurdle that came its way. Having said that please note that we did not do any heavy off roading as such. But I have a feeling even if we did, the Mini would have been fine.

    @Sajid
    Bhai good trip, I was going to ask you that if it was a heavy duty off road trip or light one coz the Nissan Xtrail would have never made it over anything higher then itself And same goes for the Rav4 too it has AWD but no transfer case

    Racer: On our way down from a 4000 ft high mountain, the X Trail did get in bit of a bother as a rock pierced thru its oil pan. We had to tow it down to the village where the local mechanic worked on it and fixed it by welding it.

    As advised we did not do any heavy duty off roading as such and perhaps some of the 4x4s would have been in trouble had we done so.

    Charter: I Think you had called on Friday and i had missed your call. IT was a very busy and chaotic day for me. I left eary Sat morning. As you can tell by the pictures the meeting point was Boating Basin, 90 am from where we took off towards Hub Chowki. Road to Dheraji is straight north from Hub and the total drive time to Dheraji is just under 2 hours. After that we drove in the katcha for few hours before reaching our camp site.

    More details later when we meet or speak on the phone..

    As advised unfortunately I cant tgo for another expedition till August but for sure us pakwheelers should organize an over night trip some where at that time.

    @sajidd

    Indeed, something to envy..... something to cherish and something to look forward for..... adventure is the only thing that runs through the blood a 4x4 fanatic....... all I can say is well done and well organized. I wish to be there sometime in the future.

    Voyager: Come down to Karachi and we will organize a trip. Just make sure its after Aug, as I cant go out till then.

    Iffe/ Salarzae..I was with a group of people who have been doing this for a long time. Its not a club as such but more like friends and families that go out on these adventures together. They are well equiped, organized and above all have intimate knowledge of places that they visit.
