    Default Toyota FJ40 4.2 Petrol

I have recently got auctioned Toyota FJ40 1982 with original F2 Petrol 4.2.
I am wondering if swapping with Toyota 14BT worth the pain. What else would change with this swap like tubes, gear box etc. Also, if some one could please guide me where to buy this in Lahore.

    regards,
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

After getting Rims/Tires and rollcage (rollcage still requires paddings and minor adjustments).

    Dear isiddique,

Congratulations, the Jeep looks awesome (y). Have you gone ahead with its registration, or you have yet to start the process? Do share updates on that account as well.

    Thanks

AbuJamal Bro AOA. Bro I have started the registration process as of last week and I will positively update you.
I find it quite interesting (and intimidating) that you need to give money to Govt but it requires “rishwat” in order to pay the money to Govt

Good news to all folks who are waiting for Jeeps registration.

Contrary to what we all expected, the withholding tax amount was only Rs5000. The total amount for registration in Lahore was around Rs 25,500. It is my understanding the withholding tax does NOT apply to full amount on Army auctioned Jeeps of 10 years old

    (or whatever it was).

I am sure if you insist at the local registration office that withholding tax does not apply to army auctioned (foreign made jeeps) you will get away with this.
