It has hardly anything to do with the Ford. Just a frame borrowed probably being closer in dimensions. Its a masterpiece of fabrication considering facilities and the outcome. People have all the time in the world to fulfill their dreams, in this case craftsmanship.

Wow! Thats a huuuuge amount of work to put into a project, but the results are very very nice indeed! Fortunately, we can get other people to do all the handy work in Pakistan, although it still is a painful painful job to ensure quality end results. Nevertheless, I would think that this project could be done in under PKR 10 lakhs possibly using a Dodge pickup chasis and TLC drivetrain. Probably would take 2 years to complete and get everything right.

Islamabad people musy have seen a Black H1 roaming around town, its actually not a hummer but an H1 body kit, made and fabricated by none other but Sardar Javed Ibrahim himself. He has two of them now.
I'm not sure what donor vehicle he used, because its not of the exact length as an H1, which was kept that way deliberate.

Is it at all possible to see a few photos of these trucks? Would be nice to see what type of workmanship is possible in Pakistan.

Javed Sb initially made 3 HumBugs, they were Hummers on a VW foxy chassis. Sold them and there on people have claimed that 'they' made them.

The recent ones have been on 4x4 chassis, 2 of them. I'll ask him for photos, though he's an observer here but I doubt he posts anything.
Most people are student of his, so I guess he just enjoys what goes on here, he's more involved in the classic car scene.
