Not to bash american cars here but the built quality is the same as doggie poop. Buy a new one of these and the value goes down by the minute, i.e. depreciation rate is very steep. This newer one goes for around $60,000+ and trust me in two years you can buy one with around 30,000 miles on it for around $35K. Thats almost half the price of the new one. The thing that hurts these big SUVs (american mostly) is the high rate of depreciation, low built quality, high cost of ownership, gas guzzling tax, high cost of ownership (although the parts are cheap to come but if the car breaks down every week then they all add up), I can go on and on but you guys got the point. The only thing that american SUVs has got going for them is the looks, which mind you arent that great in my opinion anyways. Patrol prices here in the US are at all time high and that doesnt help the Escalade cause either. Once you get one of these they only thing that you would like about it would be able to say " OH LOOK AT ME I DRIVE AN ESCALADE" but trust me if you get one of these you will be kicking yourself in the rear end due to the high cost of ownership etc etc, ciao.
