Default How law abiding are our MPs?

Spotted this ride of an "honourable" member of our National Assembly (MNA).

It is obvious that the lawmaker himself has voilated two traffic laws.

    1- Wrong pattern number plate
    2- Tinted glasses

And never mention HOW CHEAP to display one's status on a car number plate.

And this is from the so-called GRADUATE ASSEMBLY.

@ Autophile! Nice spotting. I guess thats very 'normal' for them. They are there because of us and they have to keep reminding us that they are the boss and we should not forget.

By the way the best number plate so far i have seen is on a black corolla which goes like this:
"Chaudhry of Gujarat" in a very large font, and the number in a micro size font.

p.s. thats embassy road, g-6/3, am i right?

    I totally agree.

Government SERVANTS and employees including MNA's, ministers and high ranking officials are the most visible people and should behave in accordance with the laws if they want others to do the same.

They have to set the example, and that is why the most pathetic law breakers are the one who should be uphodling it. The POLICE.

Here is an addition to the gallery. A police Van with no number plate at all.

i agree with you, sadly it's the ministers etc here who think they run the show, when infact they work FOR the people,... just that our people are too stupid to realize that.

unfortunately the current Govt is the biggest band of goons ever to rule Pakistan. They are following their own ppl with the hoax of development, where in fact the income gap between the rich and poor keeps widening, and yet the 'reap profits when the tide is high' mentality does not leave them at any moment.

Does'nt it always happen, no matter what kinda govt. you have?
Whether its Islamic, graduate, Lahori, Sindhi or any kind of assembly, it has always been the case.

About tinted glasses, even people at PW, discuss how to avoid tickets by bribing police or take off when someone tries to stop you. Some proudly announce that they never have been stopped for their tint.
How about asking the admin to close such threads, that in anyway accomplice the unlawful acts? Afterall these 16-25 old kids who brag about their immoral and illegal acts, can be the ministers of tomorrow.
    Allah hafiz.
P.S : Ministers, judges, generals, journalists..... all part of the nation and arise from the same culture, so its the nation needed to take a stand rather than an opposition mullah/ treasury member.

the answer is: not at all! this is why SSP Taimuri, the guy who paid his own traffic fine has been posted somewhere else due to complaints by our "law makers". gud thing of course because he shall now set the same rule there (wherever) but it should not have been in this negative manner

This proud show-off and disregard of law is part of your national identity.

This whole "Do you know who I am? Do you know who's son I am? Listen to me. I am better than you" superiority complex is a staple of being Pakistani wether it be a simple traffic rule or a reference to dealing with someone at a Toyota dealership. "Talk to _____ and tell him you're my friend. He will get your car fixed right away".

You guys are just like the very ministers you condemn. The only difference between you and them is: someone gave them a position of authority. If you were just as powerful, whether imaginary or real, you would do the same thing.

    @ARS and anonpak
you guys are very true......thumbs up..

this is an overall mentality problem.....
here on PW kids of ages between 14 to 18 are proud on discussing "their" rides........silly
and then some day they post "Oh...I will never drive car again" type message coz they met accident.....its so unfortunate to have such people living in a society.....
We must know that around us is Pakistan, in us Pakistan marches and behind us Pakistan follows...

Who knows criminals would also be using such number plates to dodge police, so it is dangerous too
