    Why Malaysia SAGA?

It is made by Proton; shouldn't it be Proton Saga?

Well, in Pakistan, there is a Honda Civic called Reborn too, so on the same lines, we can call this car whatever.

At this price i would buy this car blind folded.

Cmon man 728,000 for a 1300cc sedan with all the "extras".

This car is worth every dime.

Looks good...A brand new Sedan in 728,000 is not costly at all... But people will still buy Crap from Suzuki instead of buying it...

Good to see a new model trying to make it in Pakistan, while we Pakistanis could NOT do it ourselves, make our OWN car, that is.

Malaysians have tried the better approach toward their own auto industry. This 728,000 price tag may seem impressive and reasonable. But if you really take a closer look at this car, its NOT brand new model. This car was basically Made in 1980s, off from the Mitsubishi Galant I believe, the 1984 or 1985 model, 100% copy, when Malaysians started learning how to make their own National car. Just like we started assembling the Suzuki FX back in 1983 or so. The only difference between us and Malaysians was that they picked Mitsubishi and they chose a bigger car, a sedan, and we picked Suzuki FX the smallest car at that time, when trying to learn how to make a Car of our own. The Malaysians succeeded and their countrymen and government supported them 100%. While we are still NOT able to make the new version of FX the Suzuko ALTO, 100% in Pakistan. We only are able to make 70% of its components in Pakistan.

Why can't we do anything RIGHT in Pakistan. Whether its Malaysians, Iranians, Indians, Chinese they all have been learning and trying to make a car of their own, and they ALL NOW have a National car of their own, and they all started the same time as we Pakistanis did.

WHAT is wrong with us. Are they all BETTER Students than us, when it comes to learning or WHAT??? Why did we FAIL in making a Car of our own????? I don't think Pakistanis are any less intelligent than any of the other Asians, what do you guys think?

We ateast had some good start Ups and some Reasonable hope but got choked on the way due to host of complexities, i.e. (Adam Revo (2005), Proficient Pick Up (1988), etc.)

my friend owns it too..........as a Sedan, its good in the price.........its body is way haevy and solid (some consider it a pus point....sm say otherwise...) even its black colour is PEARL Black....unlike the simple black ov PK assembled one)

front doors have power windows.....a CD player.....rear spoiler./.....side skirts........but the ground clearance is way too low.............comes with stock CNG........window shades.......a blue dial plus red needle odometer gives it a sporty inside look (lolz @ the detail i am providing).........a low sound exhaust muffler (AKA Buffer)...rather than typical quiet silencer......parking sensors in the rear bumpers.......power stearing(hydralic...not motorized)

however interior material is not that much rigigid....will start producinng hidious noises after a year or 2 lyk the Suzuki's these days......and the rear passenger space is way too tight.....

trunk space is reasonabe in presence of the CNG cylinder....atleast better than a CNG fitted hatchback........

engine pick-up is GOOD.......if regularly tuned....

i guess its worth a shot if ur daddy wants to buy u a Cultus or so and u prefer a sedan.....not to mention the resale issue is out ov the equation.....

    @ Mr. velial

nope i havnt kept this car....but i have driven it a lot ov tyms.....

    the other question.....wld i recommend......

answer is.......that every1 has his own needs.......in Pk most people prefer resale and spare parts...so they wld hate it......how ever a youngster wld prefer it coz of 2 reasons......one is that its 1.3L and nowhere in pK u wld get a brand new 1.3 L in such a price..........

second it has a very strong body.....believe me when i say this " It takes both ur arms to lift the HUD" not lyk the paper bonnets of PK assembled..........

however it has a Carby engine (a negative point for those who say the world has now permanently gone to EFI's and still a carby....YUKH).....but its good from CNG point ov view (coz carby's run better and give nominal pick-ups on CNG's than EFI's unless u have a LAMDA (or LAMBDA whatever) CNG kit installed tht r not very common and are expensive

Final verdict---] its all ur choice.....

For all those who think i am wrong in CNG specs.....i might be.....but ask any mechanic.....any one.........he wld say the cars that give best milage and good pick-ups on CNG are CITY 2000, Marghala, Khyber, Cuore....etc etc.....all those with Carby engines.......hip hip...hurray

    Peace
