I have been using PTCL Broadband since 2010.
I started first with Student package and now I have 8mbps on fiber line
I rarely face any problem, and on complaining at 1218 , my problem do get resolves, but I have Line man number which I got when he visited for my complain and I have Broadband guy number which I took when I visited Exchange due to unstable speed on 8mb when my line was copper, I went there for conversion to Fiber and they did in 2 days.
Therefore, go for PTCL broadband, when the installation team visit, ask them for broadband guy number who is at your PTCL exchange and get Lineman number for speedy resolution of your line disturbance issue. Give them kharcha pani and He'll give you 1st priority on your direct complain to him.
I got my copper line wire changed which is connected from PTCL cabin and made direct connection to box that have Phone Line going out to splitter box and then to hand phone and ptcl modem.
Reason I got my existing line changed because of aged line which result in disturbance.
1st line i replaced in 2011 when disturbance started and the 2nd time I got replaced in 2014.
