you can have the cylinders professionally rebuilt - I did one cylinder for a KE175..

Firstly I stenciled all the ports onto a paper - then marked all the angles of how the port is aimed. Get a cast iron sleeve and have it only a smidge (about 0.8mm) oversized for the empty cylinder barrel and make all the ports nicely and they should be aimed perfectly (I use a precision drill for it) - NOW is the hard part - you would need to freeze the cylinder liner (sleeve) to below frostbite temperature - dry ice or liquid nitrogen works nice - heatup the empty cylinder itself in an oven or with a torch while spinning on a lathe.. Remove from lathe and insert chilled liner into the barrel and align all the ports - the liner may need to be pushed into the barrel. Once cooled off it will be seated super tight - The usual desi way is not a tight interference fit. The loose fit makes them not shed their heat evenly resulting in siezed pistons

The above kind of fit will make the cylinder perform like original and its actually the size and aim of the ports that dictate the power delivery of an engine..

After boring and honing - you need to greatly bevel the exhaust port upper lip and also bevel all the transfer ports to remove any sharp edges that can "bite" the piston.

    Xulfiqar...
The way you work impresses me! (Bravo!!)

One must really be able to pause and think, to appreciate the minute details, which in the end matter!

Anyways, in the desi way, when the sleeve is pressed into the cylinder, do you have figures that by what factor it is actually oversized...

Pakistani technicians are very bad at detailing...

During my research a long time back, I remember reading somewhere that alloy based sleeves are used (instead of cast iron) for aircooled motors, due to their conduction properties...and this may also be another vital key to longevity, ofcourse after having pressed in the sleeve in the manner you have shared!

the oversize you are mentioning is the piston oversize - they come in 2 oversizes, 0.50mm and 1.00mm - this number is the extra width the piston diameter has.

When a cylinder is resleeved - they make it back to 0.0mm (the performance problem is what I have already mentioned. the port aim, shape and stagger - then on top we have an ill fit sleeve that cannot shed heat fast enough as the cooling fins have lost their contact on the liner when it heats to normal temperature - which results in the sleeve contracting, (because its round), the pistons expanding along with the rings and eventually heat siezing

    Yu from Rwp?
i didnt bought parts from RWP, rather i bought it from LHR, pindi guys do buy parts from LHR, here isnt any good n specific junk shop regarding gto parts,
if you need to buy then just visit BIlal ganj bike junk shops, there you will must find many more,
there is a guy named Asad, his shop in basement, he use to deal in gto scraped engines, most of the gto125,s engine lots arrieved from Dubai, and engines would be made in thailand, if u wanna use thai engine then do not go for it, specially its cylinder blocks and carbs, rather if you need only gear box then you can go for it,

if you are going to install 5speed gears in gto100,s engine then it can install but in my opinion dont go for it, coz its use less on 100cc emgine, coz 100cc wont need 5speeds rather its original 4speed gear ratio is already set according to its power,
yes one can install fuel gauge set in 100,s tank, you have to buy a fuel gauge and gto125,meter
