    Default 70 road grip

Is there any possible way that can increase the road grip and braking of 70cc bike?

I think we can increase weight in some ways but i am not sure about them. My guess is major reason of bike weight is due to bike frame/chassis weight. For example my Firebird 70 have 90KG weight which makes it more heavy then other 70cc bikes. more weight increase better road grips. So you need to add some more weight in your bike.

For better brakes i think it is not possible with drum brakes however installing discs brake will add more control and braking.

wider ka tho nahi patha but u can instal one with 6 ply rating instead of default 4 ,, it will help a bit,, but 70 has everything optimized,, little room for improvemnent until u go drastic,,

wider Tyre means more contact to road it will increase the grip but as well as fuel consumption also

if u r serious about road grip and brakes
then just install the disk brake in front wheels
and 2nd increase the wheel base of your bike for grip
by increasing the frame head angle or by increasing the length of swing-arm

it should ork w/o trouble... have seen people put broader tires in Junoon... That are of CG125.. But the rim size should be same. Tire pressure should be kept same or a little higher...

The bike wont remain nimble in handling, but tire shudnt do any trouble as in case of cars.

jumping to a very broader tire might not fit in the same rim, but jumping one size i.e. 0.25 should work w/o changing the rim.

Asked it from Honda authorised mechanic once... he said its possible.

Any tire wala should be consulted before the experiment. havent done maslf.. its just my logical guess.

Here on pakwheels and out of pakwheels from different peoples everyone vote for Caltex Havoline, even our mechanic suggested to use it. I bought it around 3 days ago for my old 70cc bike cost was Rs.250 (for 70cc bike less then liter bottle)
