Thread: 125 deluxe knocking problem

    Default 125 deluxe knocking problem

    i need ur help guyz ...
    my deluxe starts knocking after 10k rpm ... (knocking is same as we give full acceleretor with OPEN CHOKE )
    and it does when the engine is hot (like after traveling 15 kms ...)
    i have changed plug to autolite irridium plug
    got it tuned
    got carburator cleaned
    but still the problem exisists
    kindly advise me or tell me the possible reasons for this

    After 10k ? is an engine redline what are you trying to do explode the engine... but joking apart I know the problem ..

    fuel adjustment is different the normal plugs when using with iridium and u need high conducting wire (and or not mandatory but have seen in some cases high voltage ignition with wiring upgrade in some cases) or it will keep on choking and knocking...

    lastly I hope you didnt bought it from Makhdoom because there plugs have that problem. men mehnga lay leta hon xtreme walon say mager unsay nahi leta atleast ye pta hota hai k it will work..

    have u checked the air filter ? and air filter housing?
    does it gives black smoke(black soot) on accelerating?
    if not than do check the little filter in the fuel on/off knobe
    (just below the tank)

    1. Tappets Adjustment for high RPM
    2. Spark Plug
    3. Fuel Quality

    thanx alot for ur help bro..
    i just ment when i give some accleration then it starts knocking ... i dont think its wire problem because it was doing the same with ngk plug thats why i switched to irridium... and i bought this plug from a guy in faisalabad from chiltan motors he is disbributing these

    i will chek the tapet adjustment
    plug is ok because same problem was with my older plug also
    and fuel i usualy use mix of hi octane and super

    bro i dont feel any black smoke out of exaust and kindly explain something about air filter housing

    make sure that when u open the throttle fully .. the slide inside carb is lifted fully and the venture/bore of carb is fully open ..
    try opening the race full and try to feel the slide going up through your finger if seeing is difficult or try to use some sort of mirror .

    also make sure that when the carb is fitted it holes are flush with those in the head .. kabi kabar ya holes perfectly match nai hotha .. jis ki waja sa rpm tho barhthi ha but fuel nai andar jatha ..

    @ALL brothers thanx for ur advices and thanx for ur time
    i spotted the reason for this problem that was a chor(anti theft) switch which i got installed and its connections were done from one of the wires from cdi unit those connections were loose and switch was also not working properly so i connected the wire directly without any switch and now there is no knocking..

    By the wayif you do instal the high voltage ignition and high volt cable bike performance will be improved so as the fuel economy.
