    Angry Deluxe Top speed >_<

    I have Deluxe 2014 and here is the poor top speed :@ i dont know why they installed the speedometer of 160 kmph at least it should touch 120. may b i have problem with my bike.. kindly share your experiences.

    Yep mene bhi suna hai mene tu even aik dafa CG125 ka thread with GPS snaps bhi dekha tha jismen 137kmh per CG125 gya tha ... he hhe hehehhe heh .....

    pta tab chalta hai jab pocket men GPS khud rakh ker check kerta hai banda atleast men tu jab tak khud taste na lay lon tab tak endorse nahi kerta ..

    Uptill my last event I never endorse GS150 becuase I happent o come accross very poorly performing GS150, then I cheked doctors Sb. (@dr.omair) GS and then tested it closely it didnt had that bruttle CG like launch but as soon as I reached final gears I knew CG can no where reach at these speeds, and I guess I was lucky to shift gears just above 8k RPM and that may have really helped.

    Suzuki bikes are much more capable then we mostly think about them. I have experienced this in my last two years (since I own one). The only thing is how perfectly they are tuned and for what purpose. In its full glory these machines are too good and you just enjoy with utmost happiness.

    Honestly speaking, I can easily attain a speed of 100~105km/h on my Sprinter. And let you know that (to reach this speed) I do not drag my bike from the first gear. Mostly I am riding peacefully at 60km/h in the 4th gear and when I saw a vacant, wide with no intersection road I just twist gradually the throttle to its limits and there you go.

    If I can gain this speed this way then I am very much sure if I drag it from the very first gear I can achieve much more speed because of the greater momentum.

    Secondly, just to mention here and I would never never recommend it to do it. On 2 occasions I abused my bike and gained a speed of 65~68km/h in second gear in just a span of 3~5 seconds. I got frustrated, hut gaye thi buri tareqay say due to traffic jam and chingi rickshaws ki jahalat aur road blocking say. I always discourage this and cursed me why I did this.

    But one thing I got to know that Sprinter has great acceleration, powerful, grippy, rough n tough and yet economical.

    Please see in above I never ever made a comparsion its just my love with my ride. How deeply I feel

    You want a better top speed than this?? Okay!

    Your engine does not have enough power to roll a 39 teeth sprocket in a 0.87:1 gear to 11,000 RPMs. SO, Sprockets won't help.
    Leave the CDI unit alone. What you can do to get better top speed is:

    1. Put a big rod in your muffler and tear up all of its meshes. (Wide and free flow exhaust) (JK, get an after market muffler and do this with that)
    2. Put a Platinum Plug in your bike. It costs 300 rupees. (Better spark)
    3. Lower the height of your bike by adjusting to the last step of shock absorbers. (Less air resistance)
    4. Get a SLIGHTLY rich mixture. (more fuel, more power)
    5. Remove heavy a$$ parts from your bike.

    We have a Deluxe and these are the only things which improved its performance a little bit. Your deluxe is already doing 110, after doing the above $hit, it will do around 115-116. A deluxe can not do any better than this.

    Bhai Ji yeh 137 wala record Haris k YB100 ne banaya tha

    Wese CG125 Euro 2 (stock) at best settings and a rider weighing 48kgs in machi (planking) position can do a MAXIMUM of 118-120km/h. Is kay baad or zyada speed ki zarra barabar bhi gunjaish nahi hoti us me.

    @junoon bro Dlx mein RPM lock laga hua, jis ki waja say Dlx top gear mein bhi full Rpm nahi daita, round about 9-9.5 Rpm milta hai - CDI unit bhi main reason hai iski.2005 ke bad Cdi unit chottay aa rahay hain jo full current nahi daitay - dlx has 43 teeth sprocket agar is me CG ki 39 teeth sprocket lagayi jaye to fark parta hai or last mein Muffler, chrome muffler laga kar plates nikal di jayen to speed increase ho gi

    With all due respect I dont agree with this part of your post.
    Tried and tested.......altered sprockets will increase top speed of any bike.
    Infact it is the most effective means to increase top speed than fiddling with CDI or fuel mixture...... with a richer mixer you also have to insert a free flow air filter and free flow exhaust......... maximum 2-3% farq perta hai CG ki power per..... just making the mixture richer will have adverse effects on the engine. I rode a altered sprocket CG of a freind of mine....... throttle lock nahi kiya tha pura on 4th gear...... meter showed 120km/hr....... woh GPS ka zamana nahi tha..... maybe the meter was faulty bit the sprockets did increase did top speed by 10km/hr as per the meter. pehlay 110 maarti thi...... sprocket k baad 120 touch kerti thi.

    Currently I'm running my Chonda 78cc with altered sprockets. alga 17 ka sprocket hai and the rear one is that of a CG. The acceleration have reduced quite significantly however I did so just to increase my cruising speed without putting to much strain on the engine. Before the sprocket set was changed I use to cruise at 60km/hr in 4th gear at half throttle........ when I got it altered...... I manage 70km/hr. Long route per fuel saving hoti hai aur city traffic mein petrol ziada kharch hota hai.

    Bhai Jaan, I completely agree with what you are saying. CG125's top speed will definitely increase with an altered sprocket, but I am talking about the 5 speed Deluxe here. CG's 4th gear ratio is 1:1 and it easily redlines the RPM in 4th gear, so it won't be too difficult for it to redline with an altered sprocket.

    Deluxe's 5th gear ratio is 0.87:1 which already works like an altered sprocket and if you put another sprocket on it, it will lose a significant power in 5th gear, resulting in an even worse top speed.

    For altered Sprocket you need more torque than usual. At lower speeds..... insufficient torque will cause some problems but as you move towards the end of power band..... I dont think altered sprocket will adversely effect the top speed. ........ the way I make logic is its like more distance traveled by the chain per revolution of the engine ......... matlab wheel will spin faster given that engine produces enuff torque.

    I personally think these CG or deluxe engines are quite torquey and can handle altered sprocket.....baqi gear ratios ki theory sahi baat hai kabhi sahi say samjh hee nahi ayee

    Exactly. And Deluxe's engine does not have enough power to produce the required torque. We've been doing a lot of this stuff bro, I know what I talk about. When I am not sure about something, I do not comment.

    IMHO i think ansee is right axi, powerplus would get some gain but in dlx 5th gear is already sluggish enough for the given weight of the bike that it will find it hard to rotate the wheel that speed which it was doing in stock.

    Actually I witnessed 10% increase in top speed by just changing the sprockets on a CG125. Same was the case with Chonda 70's. Never witnessed a sprocket change on a DLX so I assumed it will hold true for it too. Even though im now convinced that it wont help a dlx still a teeny bit of my heart thinks...... it just might ........ ab kisi dost ke pass dlx tow nahi hai....... improvise....... dlx wale ko dost banana paray ga (for sprocket changing experiment)...... In khi DLX is not a very common sight...... infact you hardly see any without a traffic police officer on it.

    khan bro kia bat kar rahay ho k 9.5k say upar nahin jta is picture main 10.5k say upar ja raha hay ab is say upar kia jay ga
    aur deluxe kab aya tha jahan tak mujhay yah 2006 main to 2005 k bad is main chottay cdi kasay a ga.y aur ap k mutabiq agar lock laga hua hay to kasay laga hay lock
