It was stolen being parked in a parking lot. Someone quoted me 17.5k for a brand new genuine one.

The consumption is okay, does about 23-25 in a liter probably, while giving full throttle it doesn't go above 75 on a GPS meter.

125 carb in 200 does not perform well I have tried in past. Price quoted for new carb is too much.
Try 175 carb in it u might find it cheaper or at few shop at aurangzaib market u can find Chinese 200 carb they do perform better than 125 carb.

Thanks for the sugesstions sir, these rates were quoted by Karimi Autos, that guy is hell expensive. Any specific shop in Aurangzeb market? Is a genuine 175 carburettor better or the chinnese replica for 200? If both are available

175 carb will be certainly better than china 200 carb. There is a shop forgetting its name its opposite to new ruby autos. Or may be new ruby autos is reopened , u might find it there. There are several shops in market where u can find Chinese replica.
Correct me this karimi autos is the 1 located at khudadad colony?.

I'll try finding 175's carburetor in Aurangzeb market and yes its the same Karimi autos, he has almost every Japanese CD 200 parts, but prices are bit too much steep. Do you still have your 185 twin?

Very greedy I must say, but sadly that's the only guy I know who keeps parts brand new. You're using that 185 with a 175 carburettor? Any plans on disposing it off?

there are 150cc - 200cc rickshaws.. there genuine carb made by dekni should be available.. i once saw it at one shop...
what is the issue with cg carb that you are usign in cd200 ?

i suspect its bore to be small compared to cd200 carb.. but that should give you good torque and low end power..

divide the performace of bike in three parts 0-30 percent throttle open .. 30-60-- 60-100.
diference circuits in carb controle these ranges .. then tune each range parts.

The pick is very good, the only difference i feel is that it doesn't go above 80 at any cost, its a copy of CG-125's carb made by Lifan, I got it for temporary use, but someone told me to change its jets in the begining when it was misfiring that got solved but I was thinking of even bigger jets. The rickshaw carburettor is not compatible with CD-200's engine I think, correct me if I'm wrong.

Ha e you tried raising the needle in carb?

Needle jet meters fuel mixture at wide open throttle.

Go for the highest jet and try it. Then you can have a baseline if you need to go higher or lower on jetting.

You might try drilling a jet.

    Be careful it's brass.

I have no first hand experience with cd 200.
