Default Dream CD 70 about gears.

    Hi Friends

    I have a dream 70 honda bike.

I am new in riding a bike. I am still confuse when to change gear of the bike, at what speed which gear to apply.

I think the limits on speedo meter for gears is not correct.

    Pls. tell your expert views.

    Regards

Keep the engine rpm normal, revving the engine may cause problem. What I think gear should be change as follow.
    1st 0-10kmph
    2nd 10-25 kmph
    3rd 25-35 kmph
    4th 35-....... kmph

CD70 (whether its Dream, or CHonda), doesn't have a smooth gear box. So whatever RPM you choose for next gear, its definitely going to produce a "TUCK" sound. Also, don't pay attention to the meter reading about gears because they are false.

Its a CD70, so just make sure not to stress gears. Whenver you feel the RPMs are rising to a 'screaming level', shift to next gear.
Riders on the storm ... literally.
